William Andrew Stuckey returns to Belle Ile in 2007 after having sung the title role in Falstaff with the Festival in 2006. The American baritone continues to expand his repertoire, recently adding Enrico in Lucia di Lammermoor with Syracuse Opera as well as the Connecticut Grand Opera. He has also recently sung the role of Tonio in various productions of I Pagliacci in the USA. Other important assignments have included Germont in La Traviata at the Santa Fe Opera, Sharpless in Madama Butterfly with the Lyric Opera of Chicago, and the Conte di Luna in Il Trovatore with the Sarasota Opera. Mr. Stuckey has equally been heard with the Washington National Opera, Palm Beach Opera, Augusta Opera, Toledo Opera, Delaware Opera, and Opera Roanoke.
