Erin Elizabeth Smith, Mezzo-soprano

Erin Elizabeth Smith, soprano, has garnered much critical acclaim the past several years. Opera News singled her out  for “her rich, powerful voice.” Ms. Smith recently completed two years with the prestigious Domingo program at Washington National Opera and is already embarking on an international career. Recent highlights include Wanda in Sophies Choice with Washington National Opera, Albina in La Donna del Lago with New York City Opera, Maddelena with Teatro Pergolesi in Italy, and Cherubino in Le Nozze di Figaro with Belle ile en Mer. Future engagements include: Kate Pinkerton in Madama Butterfly and Meg Page in Falstaff with New York City Opera, a recording and concert with Deutche Grammafone this fall in Brussels, and Harper in Angels in America with Fort Worth Opera.
